San Francisco Cleaning Add-On Costs: Oven, Fridge, and Carpet Lines
BuffAway lists San Francisco-area cleaning add-ons such as $45 for an oven, $40 for a fridge, and $120 per carpet room.
BuffAway’s 2026 price page lists add-ons separately from its base cleaning rates. An oven interior is $45, refrigerator interior $40, interior windows have a $40 minimum, and carpet cleaning is $120 per room. Read the provider’s pricing page.
The $85 Kitchen Deep Package lists oven, fridge, microwave and cabinets. The oven and refrigerator alone also total $85 ($45 + $40), so ask whether the package supplies the extra needed tasks at the same price and replaces the individual add-ons. Do not select both ways of buying the same work. Two separately priced carpet rooms would add $240 ($120 × 2).
The provider lists a ±10% possible adjustment after the cleaner sees actual condition and automatically adds a travel fee for San Francisco and Peninsula ZIP codes. Ask for the confirmed price and scope before work starts.
Use add-ons when the base clean leaves the exact task out. Rates were checked September 8, 2026 and are provider-specific, not a citywide average.
Before booking, send the room count and ZIP code. BuffAway says San Francisco and Peninsula ZIPs automatically add a travel fee and that a requested appointment is not confirmed until the team verifies scope and availability. Ask whether the $40 window minimum is per visit or per room for the exact job, and whether carpet means one standard room.
Keep the provider’s confirmation if the home has pet hair or heavy mess: the page allows a condition adjustment of up to 10% before work starts. The calculator’s initial $220 display is the East Bay minimum, not a San Francisco quote. The San Francisco minimum is $280 and its travel line is $60–$90; use the ZIP-specific result and ask whether travel is already included before adding it again.
BuffAway’s San Francisco service-area page repeats the ZIP travel rule and add-on menu, so the $45 oven and $40 refrigerator lines are applicable to the local booking flow rather than a generic national menu. Check the San Francisco service page with the ZIP before submitting a request.
