Whirlpool Appliance Delivery and Haul-Away Fees: $39, $10, and $49.99
Separate Whirlpool’s published delivery, unpacking, and haul-away lines from installation work when budgeting a major appliance order.
Whirlpool’s delivery page lists $39 for in-home major-appliance delivery, $10 to unpack and set an appliance in place, and $49.99 for haul-away. These are delivery and handling lines; Whirlpool says installation fees and availability vary. Review Whirlpool’s delivery and installation page.
The visible starting arithmetic is $39 + $10 + $49.99 = $98.99 when all three listed options apply. That still does not establish an installed appliance total. The page says standard delivery does not automatically include every installation service, and local availability can change the order.
What each line means
The $39 delivery line puts the major appliance inside the home under Whirlpool’s delivery conditions. The $10 line is unpacking and setting the appliance in place. Haul-away at $49.99 addresses the old appliance. None of those lines, by themselves, says that a gas range is connected, a dishwasher is plumbed, a dryer is vented, or a new circuit is installed.
Whirlpool’s installation guide says basic installation connects to existing hookups and may be excluded for built-ins, gas, or local-law reasons. Read the installation guide. Treat delivery, set-in-place, and installation as separate checkout selections.
Test the order
Before paying, identify the exact appliance, delivery access, old-appliance removal, and hookup. Ask whether the item is eligible for the $39 line, whether unpacking is required, and whether haul-away can be added at $49.99. If a property has stairs, narrow access, built-in cabinetry, gas work, or a nonstandard hookup, obtain the displayed service line for that condition.
The $98.99 arithmetic is useful as a receipt check, not a universal total. It excludes the appliance, installation labor, connection parts, permits, and any site correction. Whirlpool’s page also displays dynamic delivery entries in some contexts, so save the checkout price for the selected product and location.
Booking decision
Use the three lines to separate handling from installation: $39 for delivery, $10 for set-in-place, and $49.99 for haul-away when shown for the order. Ask for a written checkout breakdown before assuming a major appliance is ready to operate on arrival.
